We supply Butyl Rubber (IIR) in forms like bales, rolls, sheets, and latex, designed for inner tubes, pharmaceutical stoppers, membranes, and seals. SPECIFICATIONS

Chemical Composition: Copolymer of isobutylene (95–99%) and isoprene (1–5%), with low isoprene content for superior gas impermeability and chemical stability.


Forms:

  • Bales: Solid blocks for molding stoppers and seals.

  • Rolls: Thin sheets for extrusion into hoses and membranes.

  • Sheets: Flat panels for tire inner liners and roofing.

  • Latex: Liquid form for coatings and dipped products.


Weights:

  • Bales: 25–35 kg per bale.

  • Rolls: 10–50 kg per roll.

  • Sheets: 10–50 kg per sheet bundle.

  • Latex: 200 kg per drum.

Grades:

  • Regular IIR: Standard grade for inner tubes and seals.

  • Brominated IIR (BIIR): Enhanced adhesion for tire liners.

  • Chlorinated IIR (CIIR): Improved chemical resistance for hoses.

  • High-Purity IIR: Biocompatible grade for pharmaceutical stoppers.

Physical Properties:

  • Tensile Strength: 8–12 MPa (per ISO 37), suitable for durable seals and liners.

  • Elongation at Break: 400–700%, ensuring flexibility in dynamic applications.

  • Hardness: 40–70 Shore A, ideal for stoppers and membranes.

  • Gas Permeability: Low, per ASTM D1434, for air-tight applications like inner tubes.

Sizes:

  • Bales: 60 x 30 x 15 cm (standard bale size).

  • Rolls: 50–150 cm width, 0.5–5 mm thickness.

  • Sheets: 100–200 cm width, 1–10 mm thickness.

  • Latex Drums: 60 cm diameter, 90 cm height.
